This firm yet plush pillowtop mattress is provided in some of the rooms at Post Ranch Inn.  It is made of the finest natural materials: long staple cotton grown in USA, natural latex (dust mite repellent, hypoallergenic, anti-bacterial), and untreated lamb's wool (dust mite repellent). Constructed for durability and uncompromising comfort, it features an exclusive heat-tempered innerspring system wrapped in layers of hand-tufted fine cotton padding. Upper mattress construction includes a thick layer of natural latex manufactured in Belgium, hypoallergenic Comfort Fil 7 polyester fibers and New Zealand lamb's wool encased in Belgian 100% cotton fabric.
The mattress is 14 inches tall.

Post Ranch Inn provides this all-cotton mattress in many of its guest rooms.  It is our firmest mattress, offering excellent orthopedic support. All interior padding is of the highest quality long staple cotton, which will not deteriorate or lose its resilience over time. Our all-cotton mattress components are covered in Belgian 100% cotton fabric, which is hand-tufted.  Natural materials and hand crafting insure comfort and consistent back support.  The mattress is 8 inches tall.
 

At Post Ranch Inn, we have paired this mattress with an optional, separate five-inch pillowtop pad (sold separately). This pad contains nearly three times the natural latex as our attached pillowtop on Post Ranch Mattress II and the three-inch separate pillowtop. The five-inch pad provides extra cushioning and pressure point relief, for most luxurius comfort. Price includes delivery within the 48 states. The Organic Pillowtop Pad is placed on top of the Organic Cotton Mattress.  It consists of an inner natural latex cushion that is covered with layers of natural French wool, which is quilted to a German organic cotton fabric cover.  Available in 3-inch and 5-inch thicknesses, the pillowtop pad provides luxurious comfort through its extra cushioning and pressure point relief for hips and shoulders.

Metal bed frames for our mattresses are available in two sizes (distance from the floor): 7 1/4 in. tall heavy-duty frame and 4 1/4 in. tall low frame. King and queen mattresses and foundations require the center support that is provided by these frames.

Post Ranch Inn 's luxurious, finest quality Hypodown®  comforters are made of the same blend as our popular pillows: 80% Hungarian goose down and 20% syriaca, a plant material that suppresses down's allergenic qualities and increases its loft and insulation.  The resulting blend quickly wicks moisture away from the body, is lightweight, and cozier than anything you've ever felt.  800 fill-power, for the plushest look and feel.

The classic box design is baffled in squares for consistent appearance and warmth.  The long staple cotton (300-thread count) sateen cover is bordered by satin piping.

The pillows used on Post Ranch Inn beds are designed for those who may have a sensitivity to down.  Hungarian goose down (80%) is combined with Syriaca (20%) to fill these luxurious pillows.  Syriaca, silky white tufts from the milkweed plant, is a natural material that suppresses down's allergenic qualities, at the same time increasing its loft and insulation. This blend wicks moisture from your body more quickly, and it is more durable, breathable and warmer than down alone.   800 fill-power.  230 thread count cotton cover (not removable).

Generally, our beds are made up with 2 Medium firmness pillows placed to lay your head upon and 2 Firm pillows placed upright behind the Mediums, to rest against.  (They may not stay that way, as guests discover their comfort.)
